Aims and
Structure
The Bremer Catchment Association is keen to develop an
awareness of, and the need for improvement in the coordination of our
environment, in hand with continued commercial viability.
The catchment is diverse in resources and land use and
hence in pressures and resultant conditions.
Sub catchment groups can be affiliated with ( i.e. a
loose link) through to a full subcommittee of BCA. Either way they have full
representation on the BCA committee.

The Strategy
The Bremer Catchment Association Strategy is being
developed by sub catchments as a basis for continued action. It is a public
document built from community input over the past two years. Implementation
will require formation of up to 13 "catchment care groups" as sub committees
of BCA.
The strategy documents a wide range of agency and
community actions. This includes coordination of a vast array of management
activities occuring within the catchment. We help whoever we can.
